Information you enter
LessonStamp lets you enter student names and optional preferred names, phone numbers, email addresses, guardian details, notes, lesson schedules, attendance results, package-credit information, optional package prices and payment-status notes, and related ledger records.
Local storage
Core records are stored in the app’s local database on your device. LessonStamp does not operate a separate app account, analytics, advertising, or business-data server.
Optional iCloud sync
If you explicitly enable Sync with iCloud, LessonStamp uses Apple CloudKit to place app records in the private iCloud database associated with your signed-in Apple Account. Sync is off by default. The LessonStamp developer cannot browse that private database.
You can turn sync off in Settings. Turning it off stops new sync activity but does not by itself delete copies already stored in iCloud. Use LessonStamp’s Data Management controls to review deletion options. Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services remain governed by Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
Exports, backups, diagnostics, and sharing
LessonStamp creates exports, backups, diagnostic packages, or prepared messages only after you request them. These items are handed to the Apple system share sheet, where you choose the destination.
Normal report exports exclude phone numbers and email addresses unless you explicitly include them. Diagnostic packages are designed to exclude student names, phone numbers, email addresses, and note content. Once you share or save an item outside LessonStamp, the selected destination’s privacy practices apply.
Subscriptions, contacts, and notifications
Subscriptions
LessonStamp Pro is purchased through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes subscription transactions and payment information. LessonStamp reads StoreKit product, eligibility, transaction, and entitlement information needed to display subscription status and unlock features. The developer does not receive your complete payment-card information from the app.
Contacts
If you choose to import a contact, Apple’s contact picker lets you select one person. LessonStamp copies the selected fields into a draft for your review. It does not continuously sync your address book.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, LessonStamp schedules local notifications on your device. You can change notification permission in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
Tracking, advertising, and analytics
LessonStamp does not track you across apps or websites. It does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not sell personal information.
LessonStamp adds no advertising, analytics, contact forms, or tracking cookies to this public website. The hosting provider may process basic request information needed to securely deliver the site.
Retention, export, and deletion
Records remain on your device until you edit or delete them, remove the app and its local data, restore a replacement backup, or use the app’s deletion controls.
Settings › Data Management provides structured export and deletion controls. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion may need to propagate through the signed-in iCloud account. Keep the app online until it confirms that pending deletion work is complete.
Read the deletion guide →Children and student information
LessonStamp is a business tool for coaches and teachers and is not directed to children. The app user is responsible for having an appropriate lawful basis and permission to record student or guardian information, including information about minors.
Security and international use
LessonStamp uses Apple platform storage, transport, StoreKit, and CloudKit capabilities. No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and Apple Account with an appropriate passcode and account security.
You are responsible for complying with privacy and record-keeping requirements that apply to your location and your students.
Changes and privacy questions
This policy may be updated when LessonStamp or its data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will change when a revised policy is published.
For help or a privacy question, start with the LessonStamp Support page. If you use a TestFlight build, you can also open TestFlight, select LessonStamp, and choose Send Beta Feedback. Do not include private student information.
